Started fruits: 11-14-11
Tried apples (red and green) and likes them. Not as much as carrots but still enjoys them.
Other fruits include pears and bananas.
11-30-11: We started giving her whole pieces (cut up very small) of banana so she could practice feeding herself--- work those pincers!!! She didn't do too bad but because bananas are so squishy they, well, squished in her hands. She did much better with the Puff pieces.
*** new vegetables added to her menu: zucchini, butternut squash
***** Drooling like a fool as of lately, more teeth? She likes to brush her two teeth/gums! I think she finds it relaxing, because she'll start to hum her "sleep" song when we are brushing.
Really enjoys hanging outside in the hammock with mom and dad. Eve will just talk and babble away. Speaking of talking, she is really starting to put jer sounds together. And although I don't qualify a word being a real word until she understands the connection it goes to het first put together "word" is dada. Surprise surprise. I'm still holding out hope she'll make the real word connection to mama. ;) We are teaching her some basic sign language. Words include: more, please, thank you, all done, mama, daddy, dog, cat. We have been teaching her these for the last 2 months but no progress yet. We don't expect any until around 12 months but it's recommended to start teaching at 6 months and to expect resistance. And they weren't lying. Man, she doesn't want to do it and of course it makes me even more persistent. ;) it's funny how she already knows what she wants and doesn't want and will definitely let you know ( with high pitch volume).

Newest activity: LOVES to clap! She is so proud of herself when she does it too! Totally our fault because we made such a big deal about it when she did it she thinks she was the cat's meow (because she is).
