Esther turns SIX: 07-22-19

Once upon a time there was this girl.


She came into the family six years ago with such ease.


She fell right into step with the family without a beat skipped.


And the joy she brought is contagious and elevating.


It continues to be a source larger than the oceans.


This girl... this sweet, gentle soul. Fiery, resourceful and heart warming.

This was a full year for her as she experienced life from all angles. As Esther navigated through the ups and downs that this past year brought I could see so much joy.

Esther still loves all things fashion from the dressing up in play costumes or just to go about her day in a fancy way. She loves it all. This past year she has gone a step further in this love by creating her own outfits for her dolls. She uses all sorts of materials including random socks, masking tape, paper, spare hair ties (is there such a thing?) and tissues. They are clean, at least!

She still likes to surprise me with what she has been learning. She will only let me know in her own time and it is usually far more than I had even anticipated. It has been such a blessing to learn to slow down from her. No need to rush she likes to say.

Father in Heaven,
Thank you for this child you have blessed our family with. She is a delight to us every day. I pray you continue to cover her in your protection and good health. We ask you to continue to be filling her heart with your love as she goes through out her days as a gentle and strong representation of you.

Esther, you are a continual ray of sunshine in our home. Even on your cloudiest day you shine through with such grace. You are loved dearly.
