I'm sitting here watching the opening ceremony for the 2008 Summer Olympics thinking about how very cool it is that every country can come together if only for a moment and put differences aside. Then I start to think about how sad it is that it has to be like this only every 4 years instead of indefinitely. Why oh why can't the world live among each other peacefully? How sad it must make God feel that His loved people must fight one another.
side note: I think this is one of my favorite opening ceremonies I've seen, what do you think?
