Each year Douglas and I buy an ornament that represents the year we just went through. Such as a mortal an pestle for when Douglas graduated, a house when we bought our house and an airplane for the year we traveled back n forth to KY all summer among other places. It's nice to stop and think back on the year and "label" it with some sort of representation. Here is this years:
