What a whirl wind these past days have been. We are loving our Baby Girl and we are learning so much.
Eve already has quite the personality. She smiles ALL the time. I love it. It lights up her whole face and everyone that looks at her. I love how much joy she brings into the world.
She lifts her head.... weeble wobble, but up and looking around. Little Evie is so strong! What a grip! Watch out dangle earrings! LOL We have been needing to put drops in her lil eyes because she has blocked eye ducts. Poor thing. This is not fun... waking up and not being able to open her eyes is very sad to watch.
The love I feel for her is so incredible. It is amazing how you can love someone so instantly before spending time with them getting to know them. Alongside this Easter weekend, it makes me think about how much God must have loved His only son. And how much He loved us so much that He willingly gave His son so we could be saved. I have known this, accepted this gift but having my new little love in my life has truly made me appreciate His grace and mercy so much more. I am so thankful ~~

Welcome to our family!
Mommy and Daddy have waited so long for you. After many tear filled pleas, doctors and prayers; the day arrived ~ We're pregnant! The days and nights of waiting for you to grow every beautiful part of your body took tons of patience. We would track your every growth. The day we got to hear your heartbeat for the first time left us breathless. The day we found out you were a girl left us tearful with joy. The day we saw your first smile while you were inside the womb was so incredible! You tugged on our heartstrings immediately. Finally, finally, finally.... the day came. What an amazing day it was.. long, but a true miracle. The moment you were born tears of joy were shed (sobbed). Even as you were leaving my body, it felt like we became closer. The love for you between me and dad grew so strong. It makes you wonder how you can love so instantly without time to grow close.
Precious little hands and feet, how much you have to look forward to doing and going. Welcome to the world Precious Eve. May you be only the beginning of this new generation that will fill the world with love and joy.
